Pet food brand Lily’s Kitchen has launched a limited-edition Love & Pride range in support of LGBTQIA+ communities.
The brand, owned by Nestlé Purina will be donating 100% of profits in the UK from its Love & Pride recipes to its charity partner Switchboard, which offers helpline support for the communities nationwide. The total donation could be worth up to £26,000.
Lily’s Kitchen Love & Pride for Dogs (150g, RRP £1.60) is made with chicken, fruit and vegetables, including red pepper, courgettes, carrots and blueberries; while Love & Pride Paté for Cats (85g, RRP £1.25) is made with chicken, pork, cod and shrimp.
Charlotte Henderson, head of marketing at Lily’s Kitchen, said: “Our pets don’t discriminate or judge, they lead with love, and that’s the message that we at Lily’s Kitchen want to share.
“Our limited-edition recipes, lovingly made with natural ingredients, will see 100% of profits donated to our charity partner, the national LGBTQIA+ support line, Switchboard, to support the life-changing work that they do. Let’s learn from the love of our furry family and share it with the rest of the world.”
