Vuba has launched a product that it says will keep houseplants safe from inquisitive cats.

The brand-new patented product, Easihold spray, can be sprayed onto stones on top of the soil of potted plants. Although completely permeable, so users can water and feed plants as usual, it stops pets sniffing around, digging the soil and prevents spillages if the plant is knocked over.

The Easihold spray is developed by UK-based resin manufacturer, Vuba. It is partnered with Potstars decorative stones, which when bound with Easihold look exactly like natural aggregate but are held in place due to the crosslinking of polymer chains as the Easihold dries.

The Potstars stones come in a handy pouch and can be easily poured on.
