Trixie has launched a new range of functional treats for both dogs and cats.
The range for dogs includes Mobility Supporter, containing glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM as natural building blocks for cartilage formation and joint metabolism; Skin & Coat Supporter with selected nutrients and trace elements including omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin D; Relax Supporter featuring postbiotics and magnesium; Digestive Supporter featuring prebiotics from chicory root, psyllium husks and pectin plus postbiotics and gut flora stabilisers and clinoptilolite; and Weight Control Supporter, a vegetarian recipe with apple pomace and linseed oil for a reduced energy content compared with similar snacks.
The cat range includes Creamy Snack Anti-Hairball with egg yolk, barley grass and methionine to reduce the formation of hairballs and support the elimination of swallowed hair through normal digestion; Skin & Coat Supporter with omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA from salmon oil and added collagen; Creamy Snack Urinary Care with cranberries and antioxidant ingredients to lower the pH value of the urine; Mobility Supporter with green-lipped mussel, chondroitin and glucosamine that, as a supplement to the daily diet, can support normal joint function and have a positive effect on a pet’s mobility; Digestive Supporter with prebiotic fibre inulin, brewer’s yeast, B vitamins and essential amino acids; and Relax Supporter, featuring postbiotics and magnesium.
