Be More Bob in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, has been named as the overall winner of the ‘Paws in Spring’ 2026 campaign, a nationwide celebration of pet retailers organised by the Pet Industry Federation (PIF).
The competition, now in its second year, invited pet shops across the UK to create vibrant, spring-themed window displays showcasing their creativity, product ranges and connection with their local communities.
Be More Bob co-owner Sharon Glazzard said: “We are so thrilled to win the Paws in Spring 2026 window competition! The window has been a real hit with our customers and our online community.
“People have been enjoying the bright and cheerful colours and it’s gained a lot of ‘ooooohs and ahhhhs’ from passers by! The competition has provided us with great conversations in store and lots of cheerful content to share on social media.”
Two other pet retailers – Dog House Deli in Polperro, Cornwall, and Wag & Bone in Aldeburgh, Suffolk – were named in second and third place respectively, and the top three retailers will share a prize bundle of stock and trade offers contributed by sponsoring suppliers.
Manufacturers supporting this year’s campaign include Baker & Brey, Betty Miller, Canny Co, Cobbydog, Dot Dot Pet, Durham Animal Feeds, Groom + Kind, Landguth, Milla & Max, Natures Menu, Nutriment, Pup & Kit, Tug-E-Nuff, Woof & Brew, Scamp & Paw and Neerdog.
PIF chief executive Nigel Baker added: “The standard this year was incredibly high, and it’s been a real pleasure to see the thought and creativity that retailers have put into their displays. Competitions like this highlight the strength of independent pet retail and the important role these businesses play in their local communities.
“We’re also extremely grateful to the manufacturers who have supported the campaign with such generous prize donations.”
