Jollyes has announced plans to open four more new stores by the end of February on the back of buoyant Christmas trading.
The new stores will open at Blackpool, Lancashire (Jan 24), Ponders End, North London (February 6), Hartlepool, County Durham (February 14) and Whitehaven, Cumbria (February 27).
The four new branches follow hard on the heels of seven new store openings by the retailer in eight weeks at the end of 2025. Each new store is expected to create around eight local jobs, with recruitment for the roles underway.
Over the Christmas sales period (December 1-24), Jollyes saw total sales growth of 10.4% and like-for-like growth of 6%.
Adam Dury, chief executive officer-designate at Jollyes, said: “We know how much pets are part of the family and how, even in tough economic times, their owners want quality, care and something special at Christmas for their Pets.
“In 2026, we’ll continue to make high-quality pet care accessible to all, investing in both range development alongside our commitment to low prices, as we deliver great value every day.”
