London-based natural pet food and treat company Waita Pets is set to launch a new freeze-dried complete food for dogs and cats at PATS (stand L78).
The new recipes are made with 99% meat and are available in three different proteins – rabbit, duck, and chicken – in 400g bags for both cats and dogs.
Waita initially launched its range of air- and freeze-dried products in October 2024, and has secured more than 100 stockists to date. The complete food will be available to stock from October, and Waita will also be offering a white label wholesale option on a selected range of products at PATS.
Co-founder Bolun Li said: “Our product development is grounded in rigorous research and a strong commitment to nutritional integrity. We began by thoroughly studying species-appropriate diets, focusing on the natural nutritional needs of dogs and cats. This involved reviewing current scientific literature on raw and freeze-dried feeding, consulting veterinary nutrition guidelines, and analysing ingredient functionality to ensure our formulations deliver balanced, bioavailable nutrients.”
