Tonisity International has reached an agreement with Stelor Distribution to distribute its new range of products for the pet industry to stores across Ireland.
The animal health and nutrition company believes it has identified a gap in the market for effective over-the-counter isotonic drinks for pets. Quick, reliable rehydration is key to ensuring effective hydration in pets and avoiding potential health issues, it says.
The new pet products include isotonic rehydration drinks for cats and dogs KittyRade and DoggyRade); YummyRade, a low-fat, low-calorie meal enhancer for dry pet food; and DoggyRade Pro, an isotonic rehydration formula for veterinary patients.
Tonisity’s CEO, Arie Halpern, said: “We are delighted to be able to work with Stelor Distribution to deliver our Irish-made products to stores across the country.
“We are excited by the timing, knowing that pets will have access to fast and effective hydration, especially with warmer temperatures approaching over the summer months. Our range of isotonic drinks are designed specifically for each species, with a view to improving hydration and avoiding potential health issues.”
The companion animal range is sold in stores across Europe.
