    Rawgeous picks new partners

Subscription dog food service Rawgeous Pet Food has selected a new list of partners for 2021.

They include animal charity Support Dogs, environmentally-sustainable packaging brand Wool Cool and packaging firm Saica Pack Dublin, The Dog Treat Company pet services company Trusted House Sitters. ”

Director Lorraine Sweeney said: “We are super proud to be the exclusive supplier of puppy treats for Support Dogs in training. This company really change lives; providing training and support for autism assistance dogs, seizure alert dogs and disability assistance dogs. We felt that this was a perfect partnership as we are on a mission to improve dogs and owners lives.”

The family-owned raw pet food business has more than 30 years of experience of premium quality meat production in Ireland, but has just launched into the UK pet food market, taking advantage of the growing trend for raw and the huge growth in pet purchases during this year’s lockdown.

    BURGERS

Rawgeous Pet Food uses only human grade meat, and locally sourced fresh vegetables and herbs, all made to a family recipe with a ‘secret special seasoning’.

“Honestly you could eat this food yourself,” said Lorraine. “It’s the highest quality human grade pet food on the market. We have customers who have actually made burgers from the meat.

“We have a uniquely rigorous testing process. We were the first pet food in Europe to have every single batch sent for independent laboratory testing so there is zero recall….We are the safest pet food you can buy.’

Rawgeous is proud to shout about its green credentials, too, with Lorraine saying: “From the start we knew we had to be 100% plastic free. We partnered with WoolCool a 100% natural material that is biodegradable, recyclable and environmentally friendly. A fantastic smart fibre that is setting the benchmark for sustainable packaging.”

Customers can sign up to a fortnightly or monthly subscription model and buy a one-off trial box.

The recipe range includes venison, three bird mix, chicken and vegetable.
