Pets Corner has re-opened its shops at 15 garden centres in the UK after reaching agreements with the landlords.

Garden centres were told to close when the country went into lockdown, forcing Pets Corner to shut up shop on these sites.

Pets Corner CEO Dean Richmond said at the time: “Sadly, despite being allowed to trade as an essential retailer, some of our stores have had to close in our garden centre locations. We are trying to get them reopened and are in discussions with our landlords regarding this.”

Following these discussions Pets Corner has been able to re-open at the following garden centres:

> Hillier Garden Centres at Bath, Marlow and Windlesham

> Bicester Avenue Garden Centre, Oxfordshire

> Squires Garden Centre, Crawley, West Sussex

> Sanders Garden Centre, Highbridge, Somerset

> Lower Morden Garden Centre, Surrey

> Paddock Wood Garden Centre, Kent

> Pulborough Garden Centre, West Sussex

> Rake Garden Centre, Hampshire

> Winnersh Garden Centre, Reading

> Tunbridge Wells Garden Centre, Kent

> Palmers Garden Centre, Ullesthorpe, Leicestershire

> Upminster Garden Centre, Essex

> Blackdown Garden Centre, Wellington, Surrey.

> All Pets Corner stores now open are offering NHS staff 15% off in-store on a number of leading brands.

The company said on its website: “As we live through these challenging times, we know it’s important to give back to the heroes who are working around the clock to keep us all safe; our NHS. As a huge thank you, we are offering 15% off some of our most treasured brands in store, as a helping paw to all of the NHS workers.

“While everyone in the NHS is busy supporting us, we know that their furry friends are equally supporting them with their unconditional love (and kisses). We hope that this will help them in some way during these tough times.”
