Go Native goes direct to retailers

Go Native high-meat-content dog foods is available only direct from Red Mills, from this month.

“Since launch, Go Native has had a lot of success with gaining great support from many stores and consumers,” said Chris Redpath, UK pet business development manager at Connolly’s Red Mills.

“During meetings, many of our stockists have concerns that with premium products like Go Native, the retailer needs POS, training and in-store support, and, with GDPR restrictions we cannot gain the retailers’ details to offer this support.

“Another concern is that our stockists build the brand and get consumers on to the foods and treats and once successful they find that a local competitor undermines all their hard work.

INDEPENDENT

“So, with Go Native foods only being available direct from us, we can work with our chosen stockists, still continue to support the store, with POS, display units and training as well as using our new social media tool to drive footfall into the independent stores.”

Connolly’s Red Mills will be at PATS Telford and Chris says the company will have ‘some exciting news’ on product development within the Go Native range that will be available early next year.

Along with Go Native, Red Mills will also be launching its Leader range into the UK. This ‘lifestyle and benefit’, hypoallergenic range features single-source meat protein and natural ingredients, prebiotics and a choice of products for puppy through to senior along with slimline and sensitive.

“The Leader range has a great price point and will be a great range for anyone looking to replace the mainstream brands, so come along and speak with us at PATS and let’s build our business together,” said Chris.
