TopLife has entered the pet treats category with a new range of Cheese Bones.
Made to a traditional Himalayan recipe, TopLife Cheese Bones promote good dental hygiene and can be used as a distraction tool to help prevent destructive chewing behaviour. The products are low in lactose, gluten free and high in protein.
The range is available in three varieties – Small Dog (5-9kg) RRP £3.99, Medium Dog (10-14kg) RRP £5.99 and Large Dog (15-19kg) RRP £7.99.
The portfolio is available to the independent pet trade via wholesaler Vital Pet Group, and grocery supermarkets Sainsbury’s and Morrisons have agreed to stock items from the range.
Traditionally a producer of pet milk, the launch marks TopLife’s entry into the dog treats market segment.
TopLife’s Claire Bailey said: “With TopLife Cheese Bones, we now have a compelling treat product that enables our retail partners to offer dog owners a nutritious and long-lasting snack at an affordable price point.
“With dog owners increasingly understanding the important role that milk and dairy products can have in a dog’s diet, stocking TopLife Cheese Bones is a great way for retailers to drive their pet category sales and profits.”
