New treats with health benefits from Wellness Core and Whimzees

Kennelpak has launched two new ranges of treats under its Wellness Core and Whimzees brands, each with health and wellness benefits.

The new Core Reward+ range of soft treats combines proteins, nutrients and superfoods to deliver a pleasant taste as well as a specific benefit.

The range comprises a salmon-based recipe with ingredients beneficial to skin and coat, such as omega 3 and 6 from salmon oil; a krill-based recipe with prebiotics, aniseed and fenugreek to support healthy digestion; a duck-based recipe with passionflower and camomile to help reduce stress and promote calm behaviour; and a turkey-based recipe with glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate supporting optimal hip and joint health.

Free display units for the range are available to retailers.

The second new product, Whimzees by Wellness Antlers, is a long-lasting chew treat suitable for dogs aged three months and upwards.

Made with all-natural ingredients and rawhide-free, the treats contain an added infusion of camomile. With an antler-shaped design, the chews are designed to be slightly more difficult to hold and chew, keeping dogs mentally engaged and occupied for long periods of time in order to promote calm behaviour and mental enrichment, the company claims.

At the same time, the treats are also helping to reduce plaque and tartar, while promoting gum health and freshening breath.

Whimzees by Wellness antlers are available in resealable handy bags and bulk boxes and a range of POS material is available to retailers including shelf wobblers, shelf strips, floor vinyl stickers and display units.
