Butcher’s has unveiled Recovery & Revive, the latest product in the company’s Natural Health Support range.
The texture of the recipe is softer than usual to make it easier for dogs to eat and is designed to help get them back on track after illness or surgery. The recipe is 100% complete and is formulated to rebalance gut bacteria and rebuild natural immune defences, helping dogs’ recovery.
The product contains chicken and rice to help aid recovery, BETA glucans to help strengthen natural immune defences, prebiotic MOS and FOS to support healthy gut bacteria and paraprobiotics to help rebalance natural intestinal flora and natural immune defences. According to a recent study by Kantar on behalf of Butcher’s, more than half of dog owners want a supportive food when their dog is ill.
Recovery & Revive is the newest recipe in Butcher’s Natural Health Support range, which includes Healthy Heart, Simply Gentle, Joints & Coat and Lean & Tasty styles and is growing in volume by +17% year-on-year (Butcher’s Consolidated EPOS). The recipes in the range were developed by the company’s nutritionist and are all vet recommended.
The new recipe is exclusive to the pet specialist channel and is available in 18-can packs from Bestpets, Trust and Vital. Recovery & Revive made its debut at the recent PATS show in Telford.
