Versele-Laga revamps Happy Life and Lara brands

International pet food manufacturer Versele-Laga has given a makeover to two of its leading brands, Happy Life and Lara, and launched new snack ranges for dogs and cats.

The revamped Happy Life for dogs and Lara (for cats) kibbles have been redeveloped with improvements on four levels – concept, recipe, palatability and packaging.

Recipes for both brands now feature selected superfoods such as spirulina, are 100% complete and balanced and made with natural ingredients with a variety of flavours available. Pack designs have been updated to present a “contemporary, cheerful and playful” look, while packaging is 100% recyclable and includes resealable Velcro strips.

Happy Life Nomchies is the brand’s first snack range, and comprise crunchy bites with a creamy filling, available in five flavours and containing only 5 kcal for each piece.

New snacks in the Lara range for cats include Pillows with a soft centre and crunchy Bites.

Sarah Lanckman, corporate brand manager at Versele-Laga, said: “At Versele-Laga, we believe that food for dogs and cats can be so much more than just nutrition. With the revamped Happy Life and Lara, along with our new snack lines, we give every four-legged friend the chance to enjoy natural ingredients, irresistible flavours and healthy, indulgent moments.”
