Piggy Fest 2026, described as “the UK’s happiest celebration of guinea pigs”, is set to take place in Suffolk on Saturday July 25.

The festival, which is hosted by supplier HayPigs! at Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife Park near Ipswich, will feature expert talks and care advice on welfare and responsible ownership, family entertainment and activities, competitions and giveaways, shopping opportunities and special guest appearances from social media influencers and content creators.

There will be no public guinea pig handling in the Piggy Fest Festival area for welfare reasons, but visitors will be able to follow a family friendly trail to Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park’s famous Guinea Pig Village to see the resident guineas in their large, safe enclosure featuring guided pig versions of a pub, corner shop, café, church and nail bar.

Supreme Petfoods is the headline sponsor of the event, alongside other brands including Guinea Pig Magazine, Little One, Burgess Excel, Natural Nibbles, Piggie Parcels and Rosewood Pet.

Claire Hamblion-Jennings, marketing director at Supreme Petfoods said: “If you love guinea pigs, this is your Latitude! Piggy Fest celebrates the special role these little pets play in family life, bringing together pet lovers, experts, brands and the wider guinea pig community for a day that promises plenty of fun.”

HayPigs! co-founder Rik Cridland added: “We wanted to create something that feels joyful, welcoming and a little bit bonkers in the best possible way! Piggy Fest is all about celebrating the wonderful world of guinea pigs and the people who love them – expect cute moments, happy chaos, brilliant people and lots and lots of piggy themed fun!”
