Dog anxiety brand Pawd Drinks has achieved certification as a B Corporation.
Verified by B Lab, the organisation behind the B Corp movement, the status means that Pawd Drinks meets high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability alongside a commitment to goals beyond shareholder value.
The company markets a range of liquid and powdered supplements designed to help anxious dogs feel calmer and more relaxed. It joins a growing community of over 10,000 businesses globally that have been certified as B Corps, including more than 2,600 UK companies such as The Guardian, Innocent Drinks, Patagonia, Tony’s Chocolonely, The Big Issue, Finisterre, Elemis, and Sipsmith Gin.
B Lab UK chief executive Chris Turner said: “We are pleased to have B Corps of all shapes and sizes as part of our community, from startups to multinationals and across many different industries.
“Business is a powerful force and B Corps demonstrate that positive impact is possible in any sector. Welcoming Pawd Drinks is an exciting moment and the B Corp community is really pleased that the company is paving the way for a new way of doing things.”
