The PATS trade show has announced the launch of a new Hosted Buyer Programme, to enable senior retail buyers and exhibitors to create a strategic framework for discussions through pre-scheduled meetings.

PATS returns to the NEC Birmingham on September 27–29, 2026, and the new initiative is designed in part to capitalise on growing international interest in the exhibition. The Hosted Buyer Programme is intended to help streamline strategic sourcing, facilitate export readiness, optimise efficacy and fortify global strategic alliances.
Event director Ian Reynolds said: “PATS 2025 was a landmark, record-breaking year.

“The event saw a 70% surge in visitor numbers and a massive 169% increase in international attendance. A record 445 exhibitors from 15 countries participated.

“Building on this momentum, the 2026 Hosted Buyer Programme will offer selected participants exclusive benefits and a curated, efficient, and cost-effective experience tailored to their specific requirements.”

Prospective applicants are required to meet certain qualifying conditions to participate, including being part of a group owning three or more stores or having a significant online presence. For further details and to apply, visit the PATS website.
