Fold Hill Foods has announced a £9 million investment in a new facility at its site in Boston, Lincolnshire.
The new facility introduces advanced automation alongside a best-in-class oven, as well as introducing the ability to pack biscuits directly on the production line at Boston for the first time. The investment consolidates production into a single line, enhancing overall capacity and improving operational efficiency, while also delivering improved energy performance.
The investment forms part of a wider programme to consolidate operations and modernise manufacturing to meet increasing demand from retail and trade partners in the pet trade and to support future growth.
Fold Hill Foods managing director Ben Mankertz said: “We are delighted with the significant investment the business has made to consolidate our operations with the installation of this new facility at our Boston site.
“This investment ensures we have the right foundations in place to support our future growth, while continuing to deliver the quality and performance our customers expect. As the UK’s number one dog biscuit manufacturer, we are committed to investing in our capabilities to support both our customers and the wider category.”
