The Animal People Recruitment Company will be supporting Birmingham Dogs Home at this year’s PATS trade show by allocating the majority of its stand space to its longstanding charity partner.
The company, which works in recruitment and consultancy within the pet and animal health industries, has worked closely with Birmingham Dogs Home for several years. A donation is made to the charity every time a candidate is successfully placed into one of their clients’ businesses.
By offering Birmingham Dogs Home a chance to exhibit from the company’s stand (A51) at PATS 2025, the firm hopes to help the charity raise awareness among leading pet businesses, brands, and industry professionals.
Chris Whatling, co-founder and managing director of The Animal People Recruitment Company, said: “Our partnership with Birmingham Dogs Home is one of the most meaningful parts of our business. Every single dog they care for, and every story of resilience they represent, reminds us why we work in this industry.
“Giving them space on our stand at PATS – in the heart of our home city – felt like the most natural and important thing we could do this year. I’d love to see more businesses within the pet space get behind them, especially while exhibiting at PATS. Together, we can help them reach more people and continue the amazing work they do.”
