The Pet Industry Federation (PIF) has announced the winners of its 2024 Awards.
The accolades were presented to the winners of 26 categories, encompassing every aspect of the pet trade, last night (Thursday, November 7) at a gala black-tie ceremony at the DoubleTree Hilton, Stoke-on-Trent.
Winners included Wildwood Pets of Stamford, Lincolnshire, which was named Independent Retailer of the Year; London-based Pet Pavilion, which won Pet Retail Chain of the Year, while Wholesaler of the Year went to Su-Bridge Pet Supplies. Awards for manufacturers went to Mackle Petfoods and Proflax, while the Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to David Tracey of wildlife pet food firm Brambles Pet & Wildlife.
The event was supported by Su-Bridge Pet Supplies as platimun sponsor and headline sponsors Cliverton, YuMove, and the Animal People Recruitment Company, along with drinks sponsor Betty Miller and media sponsor PBW News.
PIF chief executive Nigel Baker said: “This year’s PIF Awards showcased exceptional quality and a remarkable number of entries. While only one winner can emerge in each category, being shortlisted is a significant accomplishment for our finalists.
“It’s genuinely inspiring to see the diversity and commitment within our sector, and at PIF, we take great pride in honouring this dedication through the PIF Awards.”
