New brand promises human-grade protein snacks

The Protein Ball Co has created a new pet brand called It’s The Dog’s, offering pet owners a natural dog treat that is made using the same ingredients found in its protein balls for humans.

The treats are made using dog-safe roasted peanut butter, along with other ingredients such as chicory fibre, tapioca fibre, chia seeds, toasted pumpkin seed protein powder, sunflower seeds, golden flaxseed, coconut cream, citrus fibre and apple.
Each ball is high in protein to support growth and repair muscles, as well as being low in carbohydrate, high in fibre and prebiotic to help promote a healthy gut.

Matt Hunt, founder of the new brand, said: “At The Protein Ball Co we’ve spent eight years perfecting our protein balls for humans using only the finest ingredients. But as much as we love our own snacks, we couldn’t ignore the puppy-dog eyes of our furry friends. That’s why we’ve expanded our line to include all-natural dog treats, inspired by the belief that our pets deserve the same love and care we give ourselves.

“We wanted to launch It’s The Dog’s so people can treat their pets like the family they are.”

It’s The Dogs will launch with two pack sizes, a three-pack multipack (RRP £4.99) and single packs (£1.89). the product will be available to all retailers and online via Amazon and the brand’s website.
