A veterinary products supplier has donated school essentials to 30 children in Scotland.

Located in Dumfries, Henry Schein Animal Health UK provides the UK animal health profession with pharmaceuticals, equipment, pet food and veterinary disposables. Since June, its staff have been raising funds through events such as car washes, bake sales and a raffle to help its ‘Back to School’ campaign. Staff also collected donations of stationery, lunch boxes and other products.

Managing director David Hinton said: “We are very proud that so many volunteer Team Schein Members care about the underprivileged children in our neighborhood. With the launch of the ‘Back to School’ programme in Scotland, we were able to provide the children with clothing and school supplies for their first day back at school, knowing that this will give them the motivation and confidence to start the school year successfully.”
