A Scottish vets has undergone a major £60k expansion.

New consult rooms, a state-of-the-art laboratory and larger pharmacy ensure that pets at Dunedin Vets get the best of healthcare at the surgery in East Lothian.

For vets and nurses there is a new staff room, kitchen, office accommodation, study room and meeting area. The improved reception allows cats and dogs to wait separately for appointments to reduce the stress of feline patients.

Clinical directors Margot Hunter and Chris Monk have overseen the redevelopment.
Margot said: “Over the years, we have expanded the practice in phases but this is the biggest project we have undertaken. These latest changes have really modernised our facilities to provide the very best of pet healthcare.

“The new equipment brings an added dimension to the service we offer with the improved facilities empowering staff. The ability to use the latest of equipment has boosted the team’s confidence. All in all the changes have created a great environment.”
