Suffolk-based pet food manufacturer Skinner’s has enhanced its Field & Trial range with a new Grain Free Chicken and Sweet Potato complete dry dog food, designed specifically for dogs with sensitivities or dietary intolerances.

Sales and marketing director William Delamore said: “We sincerely believe it is a vital addition to the range, particularly with the changes in diets required by so many different breeds of dogs. Much like humans, dogs have intolerances to all sorts of ingredients; Grain Free Chicken & Sweet Potato simply offers an option for those dogs.

“Skinner’s heritage is in the working and gundog sector with many of the top trainers across the country feeding and recommending Skinner’s. At Skinner’s, we pride ourselves on the fact we can provide a diet for every dogs needs and abilities – and the new Grain Free Chicken and Sweet Potato diet will add a new dimension to an already diverse range of foods available in the Field and Trial Range.”

The Field & Trial range will now offer 19 different diets, all of which have been produced alongside canine nutritionists to offer a diet to suit every breed of dog, age and activity level.

Field & Trial, Grain Free Chicken and Sweet Potato will have an RRP of £39.99 for a 15kg bag and is available from this month (June).

If dog owners suspect their dog might be suffering from a food intolerance and are struggling to find the right diet for them, they can contact Skinner’s directly and the team will help guide them in the direction of a suitable, sustainable diet for their dog. In addition to this, if they are unsure of the amount to feed their dog, Skinner’s offers an easy-to-follow feeding guide on the company’s website.
