Last chance to nominate an Animal Hero

Pet food brand Webbox has signed up to be the official partner of the 2018 Animal Hero Awards, alongside animal welfare charity the RSPCA.
The annual awards, taking place in London this September, recognise animals, individuals and teams that have shown outstanding commitment in the animal world.
This year’s categories include Hero Animal of the Year, Young Animal Hero and Conservationist of the Year. All winners will be chosen by a panel of judges, including TV personalities and a veterinarian.
Tony Raeburn, Pets Choice CEO, said: “At Webbox we are committed to the ongoing welfare of all creatures, working alongside charities that support animals and humans through all walks of life.
“Every month we receive hundreds of letters with stories about the hard work and commitment given to animals by so many, along with the fantastic stories about the dedication that pets give back to humans and working with the Animal Hero Awards provides us with the right platform to recognise these tremendous people.
“I’m really looking forward to reading the nominations for the 2018 awards and meeting those that work so tirelessly to help the creatures we care for so deeply.”
Nominations for this year’s awards close on Sunday, July 15, and Webbox is urging people to get their nominations in as soon as possible.
Winners will be invited to the star-studded event, hosted by Amanda Holden, taking place at Grosvenor House on Thursday, September 6.
