London-based ‘hound and human’ lifestyle brand Fetch + Follow is bringing dogs, design and art together with a pop-up store in Shoreditch, when London Design Festival opens across the city.

Situated on Redchurch Street and open from today (Friday, September 14) until September 23, the Dogs + Design is anything but your average ‘pet shop’ and is aimed at catering to ‘discerning urbanites, whose dog enjoys a lifestyle that is an extension of their own’.

While the store is not part of the official London Design Festival programme, this
concept dog shop will sit in the heart of the ‘Shoreditch Design Triangle’ and promises pet-themed features to celebrate and promote of London as the design capital of the world.

Features of the Dogs + Design pop-up will include a dog art postcard Wall featuring
the creative work of 50 different artists to help raise money and awareness for the WECare Sri Lanka charity that helps care for Sri Lankan street dogs.

Fetch & Follow has also teamed up with furniture designer Dean Edmonds and dog
toy company Kong to fashion the famous ‘tough’ dog toy into a ‘playful’ piece of lighting for the home. Available to purchase in-store from £95, the design uses an XXL Kong in a choice of black, red or blue for the base, with a simple bulb top for a dog lover’s home.

Continuing the Kong theme throughout the store is an installation utilising toys of all sizes and colours, as well as wall hooks made from Puppy Kongs.

To celebrate the opening of the Dogs + Design pop up, Fetch & Follow will be offering two and four-legged visitors cocktails, refreshments and nibbles throughout today (Friday).
