Petcor, the maker of Veni-Dog products, has introduced three newly-developed pheasant treats for dogs – pheasant jerky, pheasant bites and pheasant chew sticks.

“These new treats are an addition to our well-known range of venison treats – the beginning of a breakout into the wider field of game products,” said Petcor director Tony Davenport. “They are 100% natural air-dried treats made from British pheasant breast fillets at our own factory in Wales. In addition to the fact that dogs are extremely enthusiastic about them, the pheasant treats are superbly healthy.

“Made from human grade pheasant fillets only, with no offal or other body parts and no additives, having a unique rich flavour, the treats are an excellent source of natural vitamins and minerals, especially vitamins B6 and B12, iron, phosphorous, selenium and niacin. They are high in protein but extremely low in fat and calories. They are also gluten free, hypo-allergenic and suitable for dogs with food intolerances.

“Like our other products, the pheasant treats are naturally and gently air-dried so as to lock in freshness, flavour and nutritional quality. They are ideal for training and as a very welcome snack anytime.

“To our knowledge these pheasant treats are the first of their kind in the UK.”
Petcor is already known for its venison treats.
