Frozzys secures new wholesale listing

Frozzys, the lickable frozen yogurt for dogs, has secured a listing for its range of dog treats with pet distributor Pedigree Wholesale.

This new listing will see Frozzys range of frozen yogurt available to Pedigree’s extensive account base of independent retailers – just in time for the key summer period.

This new partnership clearly demonstrates the growing demand for natural and healthy dog treats from retailers and consumers, Frozzys believes. The range also taps into the growing humanisation and premiumisation trends that are helping to drive category growth.

Frozzys is low in fat, calories and sugar, and naturally rich in calcium and lactose-free. The treats are made with natural ingredients and enriched with vitamins, minerals and prebiotic fibre.

“Unlike most traditional ambient treats which are very quick to consume, Frozzys frozen treats last longer,” the makers say. “On average, it takes a dog 10-15 minutes to consume a single pot. This means that it is limiting the dog’s calories and fat, without limiting the mental stimulation and enjoyment that treats can provide.
