A Frozen dog food product has been recalled in 21 North American states.
The recall was initiated after Steve’s Real Food was notified by the Nebraska Department of Agriculture that a retail sample was collected and tested positive for salmonella.
The company, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, has voluntarily recalled its five-pound Raw Frozen Dog Food Turkey Canine Recipe.
Fifty-two cases of the product were distributed between June 27, 2017 and July 15, 2017.
No pet or consumer illnesses from this product have been reported to date.
