A domesticated fennec fox and a cat have formed an unlikely relationship.

The Metro reports that Kuzma and  Zima the cat have been inseparable since they were taken home in Moscow by Milana Valevskaya.

The two-year-old fox and two-year-old cat like playing hide and seek and chasing each other’s tails while in the flat. Although at times they can annoy each other, they always come back together and fall asleep.

Milana said: “We needed to have a cat as fennec foxes need friends. In the beginning we took a dog, but they did not get on well together.”
