The Dorwest Foundation has donated £2,500 to five charities.

Rushton Dog Rescue, Barking Mad Dog Rescue, Animal House Rescue, Linbee Dog Rehoming and New Start Cat Rescue each received £500, helping to pay for vet bills, vaccinations and fostering costs.

Herbal business Dorwest Herbs launched the Dorwest Foundation as part of its 70th anniversary celebrations last year. It helps dogs and cats in need of care, health and quality of life improvements. The charities were selected to receive donations through customer recommendations.

Jo Boughton-White, Dorwest MD, said: “This cash made a real difference to these charities and I want to thank to all our customers who contributed and made this possible. We hope to help even more dogs and cats this year and we can only do this with your help.”
