The Animal Welfare Foundation has opened applications and is looking to recruit as many as three trustees to help drive its mission to improve the welfare of animals through veterinary science, education and debate.
AWF funds research, supports veterinary education, provides pet care advice and encourages debate on animal welfare issues. The trustees are responsible for facilitating the achievement of the charity’s mission, providing strategic direction and safeguarding AWF’s brand and reputation. While the emphasis is on representation from within the veterinary professions, AWF would welcome applications from those from outside the sector who have relevant skills.
The deadline for applications is 9am on August 21.
