An animal lover has helped rescue and rehome more than 600 animals in just 10 months across south Wales.
Anna Mason set up Anna’s Rescue Centre, in Rumney, Cardiff, after years of treating animals and working with other rescue charities, Wales Online reports.
The charity has already helped more than 500 cats, hundreds of rabbits, around a dozen dogs and even bearded dragons.
Anna, 50, from Penylan , Cardiff, said: “I have been in rescue all my life since my first job as a veterinary nurse when I was 16, from there I managed a pet shop and dog salon (and) there was also years of volunteering at other rescue centre until in April 2017 when I decided to set up as an independent charity.”
