An air ambulance was called to Pets at Home on a Gloucester retail park after a medical emergency.

A man was resuscitated after falling ill at the store today (April 6).

Gloucestershire Live reported that police arrived to assist the helicopter land and the man was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

A police spokesperson said: “There was a medical emergency at Pets at Home – the ambulance service helicopter landed at the scene to transport a man who had fallen ill.”
