Woof&Brew’s award-winning Pawsecco is now available in freeze pop form.
The still ‘wine’ for cats and dogs has flown off the shelves since its launch and has appeared in national and international press, including a TV appearance in the latest series of ‘The Apprentice’, and has firmly established itself as one of the top Christmas gifts for pets.
The makers – who also produced the world’s first herbal doggy teabag in 2013 and doggy ‘beer’ Bottom Sniffer in 2016 – hope Pawsecco Pops will follow suit and scoop gold at PATS Sandown 2018.
Although the product is set to launch officially at the show, the company has already seen lots of interest from retailers. The move to freeze pop form mirrors the availability of new premium pops in the adult market.
“If it’s good enough for you…” said Woof&Brew managing director Steve Bennett. “We have always put health and happiness at the heart of everything we do. Creating truly unique, and healthy products is what we are all about. We have had very strong feedback from initial discussions with retailers and taste-testing since developing Pawsecco Pops.
“Engaging with our human consumers is very important to us and we work hard to maintain a very reactive audience. Keep an eye out for campaigns that focus on this – including, ‘Is your pet a licker or cruncher?’.”
These luxury ‘posh-pops’ have been created with the advice of veterinary experts and are non-alcoholic and contain no grapes. Each box contains six pet pops made with elderflower, linden blossom and ginseng, ready to freeze. RRP is £5.99
