Since strict lockdown was lifted, our tourist areas have been jumping; we’ve never seen so many visitors in the area, which is very good for the economy as long as it doesn’t spread the virus! One family came in and announced that it had been five years since they visited the area, and when they were here last they loved cuddling the puppies we had for sale in the shop. Apparently we had two cages of puppies under the window by the sink.

I’m not sure what this family was thinking, but it took a lot of persuasion that they were mistaken and they did not see puppies for sale in our shop. Before anyone writes protesting letters about pet shops selling puppies let me just say we never have, and will never, sell puppies.
