I listened to a really good argument between a mother and her young son in the shop. The son wanted a dog toy and, despite being told ‘no’ repeatedly, he kept on asking for one. Eventually, the mother said to her son: “Did you ask a question? Yes, and did I give you an answer, yes – so that’s the end of it.” To which the son replies: “Yes, you did answer me, but it was the wrong answer.”
