Well this is strange. Normally we have a quiet trading period in January and February and start to get busier in March, especially in the run-up to Easter. This year January and February were quite busy and March was very quiet! The hope now is, with lockdown easing and Easter on its way, people will come out and spend again. I was talking to some of my friends in the guest house and hospitality business and the general feeling is as soon as restrictions are lifted there will be an explosion of people looking for a holiday in the UK and they will have money to spend, so let's hope that we get a good summer and the virus keeps at a low level as people need to get out and about and us small businesses need their trade.
