A few months ago I sold a rabbit to this family, then they came back to get another one as a companion and it just so happened that this coincided with the daughter’s birthday. When I asked her when her birthday was and how old she would be, she answered ‘September 5th’ and added that she would be 12. I told her that was my birthday as well, but I was a bit older at 18. She took one disbelieving look at me and said, ‘No, you’re a lot older, you look quite old. Maybe 30.’ Made my day!
