Leading equine feed balancer producer TopSpec has appointed Jodi Finucane to the role of graduate equine nutritionist.

Originally from County Limerick, Ireland, Jodi studied agricultural science at University College Dublin. She has ridden all her life, mainly show jumping and hunting, and is also a racing enthusiast with a special interest in breeding and producing youngsters.

Jodi worked a season at Hickstead for Irish showjumper Shane Breen and then worked for Camas Park Stud, in County Tipperary, for a number of years helping with sales prepping, stud office duties and in the racing yard.

She also worked for a breeding season at the Aga Khan Studs, in Kildare, before moving to England.

She joins TopSpec as the North Yorkshire-based company continues to grow and develop.

“The new role at TopSpec is very exciting and I am very much enjoying using my nutrition training to help the many horse and pony owners that contact us on a daily basis,” Jodie said.
