Aquadip Is launching an own-labelling service for its complete range of frozen fish food blister packs and a range of its dry fish food in pots.

The Netherlands-based manufacturer and supplier of aquatic plants, frozen and live food, dry food and aquatics treatments and supplements will be unveiling the service at AQUA 2017, to be held at Telford in October.

A spokesman said: “The past few months have been a busy time for Aquadip. We know ‘branding’ is a hot item in the current market and we have been looking into the possibilities of offering a private-label option to our customers.

“After numerous meetings with print companies, machine engineers and an in-depth analysis of various software programs, we are proud to announce that we can offer private labelling for our complete range of frozen fish food blister packs and a range of our dry fish food in pots.”

Wholesalers and independent retail specialists can supply their own artwork and Aquadip will print these customised labels in full colour. It will also include a full ingredients list and product analysis on the labels, ‘ensuring the labels are compliant with existing regulations’.

The spokesman added: “This makes it easier and more convenient for our customers, who do not therefore have to be concerned about this requirement, saving them time and hassle. Customers can expect to see the same top-quality ingredients as those in our Aquadip-branded products.”

Aquadip – which has been supplying the UK aquatics trade for more than 16 years with weekly deliveries using its own fleet of vans – can provide this service in small quantities, making it ‘practical for stocking levels in smaller independent shops’.
