At the recent 2012 Nishikigoi show held
in Japan, the largest and most prolific Nishikigoi show in the world, a six-year-old, 84cm Showa was crowned the All Japan Grand Champion.
Owned by Jitsuo Takagi, bred by the Dainichi Koi Farm, it had been fed Saki Hikari as its primary diet. This is the ninth consecutive All Japan Grand Champion to be raised on the Koi diet.
Saki-Hikari provide complete and balanced nutrition and contain Hikari-Germ, a strain of Bacillus bacteria which aids digestion, helps optimise nutrient utilisation and supports the Koi’s own good bacteria, making the fish’s immune system stronger.
